Run For Office

Here's Important Information That Will Help You Run & Win.

Democrats Have Total Control. Alexandria Families Are Paying the Price.

Alexandria is under complete one-party Democrat rule. Once Governor-elect Spanberger takes office on January 17, 2026, not a single Republican will represent Alexandria at any level—City Council, School Board, General Assembly, Congress, or statewide office. One-party Democrat rule will be complete.

Here's what Democrat control is delivering:

  • Record-high property taxes. Alexandria ranks in the top 3% of counties nationwide for property taxes. A $600,000 home pays nearly $7,000 a year—and the all-Democrat City Council just raised rates again.
  • Unsafe schools. In December 2024, violence at Alexandria City High School got so bad they had to cancel in-person classes. Students and staff were injured. The all-Democrat School Board—led by Chair Dr. Michelle Rief and Vice Chair Christopher Harris—has failed to keep our kids safe.
  • A Congressman who ignores you. Rep. Don Beyer (D-VA-8) votes with Nancy Pelosi and the most extreme Democrats 100% of the time. He's been in office since 2015 and takes Alexandria for granted.
  • A new progressive state government. Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, Lt. Governor-elect Ghazala Hashmi, and Attorney General-elect Jay Jones will push their progressive agenda statewide. State Senator Adam Ebbin (D-39) is resigning to join the Spanberger administration—creating a special election opportunity.

2026 Elections on the ballot:

  • U.S. House (Don Beyer's seat)
  • U.S. Senate (Mark Warner's seat)
  • Special Election for State Senate District 39

This is our moment. These Democrat politicians chose extreme activists over regular Alexandria families. It's time to hold them accountable.
