I’m disgusted, but not surprised.

This is a sign that a racist protester held up as I spoke to the Arlington County School Board about keeping our girls safe.

Sadly, this is nothing new to me. I’ve borne venomous insults and been called so many horrible names throughout the years.

The “tolerant” Left will turn racist and ugly the instant a black woman decides to reject the Democrat party and embrace common sense. Liberals just can’t wrap their heads around the fact that I dare to think differently, that I am not beholden to their political agenda simply because of the color of my skin.

I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the Confederate States. I’m an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our nation. I won’t let their insults define me, and I certainly won’t let them slow me down!
