The Alexandria GOP will support the annual Friends of Fannon “Alexandria Has a Heart” clothing and food drive from 9am-3pm on Saturday, February 15 at 225 South Henry St (Corner of Duke and South Henry Streets) which will be donated to A.L.I.V.E., The Carpenter’s Shelter, and Christ House. “Thanks to all Alexandrians for coming out for the 17th annual Valentines’ weekend food and clothing drive. Your donations go a long way to helping the less fortunate in our community.” – said former City Councilman Frank Fannon (R). 

Alexandria GOP Chair Chris Howell commented, “The Republican Party in Alexandria is growing. Next month we will announce some additions to our leadership team and more events to get local Republicans engaged with their party.” The March events come after several successful events in January, including a well-attended inauguration event the night of January 20th in Old Town.
