Voting Member

Voting members take an active role in deciding the future of the Alexandria City Republican Committee.

Voting members have an attendance requirement and can lose voting privileges after three consecutive missed meetings.
  • Vote on intraparty business
  • Attend general membership meetings 
  • Membership is a two year term (March to March in even number years)
  • Develop and refine leadership skills by engaging in meaningful political efforts
  • Join a community of like-minded conservatives who share your vision for Alexandria
  • Directly contribute to the success of conservative candidates at the local, state, and national levels. 
  • Engage, influence and advocate for conservative values that shape the future of Alexandria
  • Enjoy professional growth opportunities, from grassroots activism to connections with local leaders and influencers
  • Participate in local political events, forums, and candidate engagement opportunities

Eligibility

  • You must live in Alexandria City and be a registered voter in Alexandria City.
  • You must be willing to pledge support for the Republican Party slate of candidates.
