Precincts & polling places |
The city of Alexandria is divided into 26 voting precincts. All precincts are in the 8th Congressional district, but there are different districts for the State Senate, State House and city School Board (see list, below).
To find where you vote, check the city's precinct map, or use the State Board of Elections online look-up service.
NOTE: There were several precinct changes in 2006:
• Part of NOVA Arts Center precinct (208) has been split into a separate precinct: St. James Church (210).
• Part of Tucker School precinct (304) has been split into a separate precinct: Cameron Station (308).
• Portions of Beatley Library precinct (303) and Southport Apts. precinct (307) have been shifted to Tucker School precinct (304).
Several other polling places were changed in 2004 and 2005. Check the list below for your current polling location!
